different style welding

i was just readin a post and someone talked about stitch welding...im a beginner welder i just bought a millermatic 135 with gas so i wanna learn all i can...what other styles are there too?...i know on thick stuff i can lay a whole bead on but on sheetmetal its just tack tack tack huh? no faster way
