Thursday night I was sitting on the tailgate of the chevy, I decide I am ready to go to sleep so I close it go inside to sleep. I wake up friday morning headed to work, take off up the road and hear this banging noise, look in my mirror and my tailgate is sliding down the street behind me going the opposite direction. I hadn't latched the tailgate all the way and it fell down, well GM has a recall for defective tailgate cables, when it fell both cables snapped and it went for a ride. I could not stop laughing about it all day friday. Chevrolet said they would put new cables on it under the recall and repair the tailgate damages. still laughing about it
