Possible?

I was just sitting around and started to ponder.... Is it possible to b/d a Vdub bus, then got to thinking, well the wheel is under the driver, so how would that work, then came the idea of making it a center drive, put the driver seat in the middle that way you can bring the front tires up as far as you want... Or would that still not work?
