alright i have an 89 max with the mechanical fuel pump. was using gas wayyy too fast got to looking and when its running gas is running out of (i guess its an overflow) on the fuel pump. the line runs out of it and down beside the motor. there isnt anywhere else it could run. the more gas you give the truck the more runs out that hose. the truck runs fine and everything just starts busting out around 4000 rpms. im guessing i just need to replace the fuel pump or is something else causing it or what? any help would be appreciated. thanks
