So they are replaceable? Yea it's the arm where it connects to the cable on the right side of the transmission. Would I have to pull the transmission?

Yea he pulled his transmission to replace the part.I believe the part cost around 80$ it took him about a day.

Do you know where he got the arm or what it's actually called????

Yes it's replacable, it happens to a lot of people. Most poeple have it welded back up with some thicker plate added on for extra strength.

Happened to me 3 times. Rewelded it twice, then took the tranny off and to a fab/welding shop to have them add a thick piece of metal onto it, never had a problem again, still driving around town today, fixed about 3 years ago. Only cost like $50, but its a chore to get that tranny out, when working in your driveway anyway.
