hesitation n cut off with acceleration

I got 84 2.0 ltr 4 speed m max. Rebuilt the engine replaced fuel pump n filter along with dist cap otor n wires. Truck starts n idles fine revs up fine but once warmed up if u hit the gas it sputters n pops out the tail pipe n sometimes out the carb. Its dies if u try to gun it . The accelerator pump seems to be wrking when I hit the throttle when engine is off. I don't know whts wrong maybe bad cat coverter or muffles r possibly need carb replaced (32/36 webber swap not an option I'm in cali won't smog:/) any ideas on what's wrong with this truck I need some help

sounds like you got some crossed carb hoses. air fuel ratio isn't right.

i also have a rebuilt carb for 2.0. just needs the choke screw

Thanks for the replies tuned out to be one of the idle mix screws there was one kinda behind and to the right of the one you can see
