Need Help from the gods
Hey guys i have a 1989 Power Ram D/50 2.6L, here is my problem. Whoever had the truck before me put a new weber carburetor on her to sell her i guess, i have taken it apart and cleaned it, however when i was cleaning the carburetor i noticed the primary opening had carbon build up and the secondary opening was clean like it had never been used. on top of the carb there is a piece that looks like it
Is the Weber mechanical or vacuum actuated? If vacuum, change the port the secondary diaphragm is hooked up to? Check the diaphragm, too.
Bogging may be caused by a rich condition if the secondary isn't opening.
i believe is mechanical because i dont see a nipple for a vacum line to go into the weber.
ok so i tried everything i know how and still nothing however i turned the ignition all the way towards the front of the engine and she runs a little better.... any thoughts?
