4x4 trans for an 86-89 2.6liter max

anyone know of an upgrade for the trash mitsy dropped behind this motor im on my third trans and im not a hot rodder oh and hello every one

Which tranny does yours have. I think you can bolt up the 2.4 transmission, but not totally sure as you have a 4x4 and not sure if the transfer case will bolt right on to the 2.4 tranny

the shifter is actually in the transfer case if this help i dont know the model num for it though its a stock trans and case for the 86 2.6 engine
