79-95 is basically the same rearend. if you have a 5 speed, then the ratio is going to be low. the rears out of an auto will be higher, especially older ones from trucks with no everdrive.

so try to match the rear in the donor truck to yours by the transmissions.

the brakes may need to have the rubber leader line changed. or you may need to swap out the T in the line to match the Mitsu line.

plus if you can get the driveshaft, please do, even if its bent. you really only need the yoke that bolts to the Toyota rearend.

if you cant get that, most 4x4 shops can get one, as GMN engines in Toyota trucks is a popular swap and several aftermarket companies make the Yoke.
