need help!!!

i have a 86 ram 50 with a 2.6L g54b automatic.. she ran a little rough when i first got her.. it took awhile to get her to stay running but once i got her warm she ran fine.. just sputtered out when i accelerated, like it wanted to die. i figured it just needed to get used to running again since she sat for a while.. well i decided to try and clean the stock carb on her and i seem to have made things worse. no she wont start and when she does start she runs fine for almost 30 sec then dies and wont start back up.. i'm at a lose.. any ideas!??
