Hey guys im having some problems withe my oil pump is the 2.6 and the 2.0 oil pump are the same? and were can i find one? Thanks

The 2.6l and 2.0l (1979-1982) Are the same by what the Book Tells Me!

The mighty max was not produced in 79. He probably meant 89-92.

cool thanks man would anyone know if i have to lift the engine to replace the oil pump? n is it just taking it out n puttin it in?

You Might have to take out your Radiator and Drop the Oil Pan!

So I found a oil pump at napa but it comes up as a 2.6 when I have a 2.0? So are they the same?thanks
