timing help

so i just got me a 88mightymax when i got it it was running like crap real slugish. after doing a full tune up on it. it started to run a lot better butt stlil felt a little slow so i go check the timing see if it was off, there is no sticker under the hood to find out the specs. my question is if anyone know what are the specs and what do i have to do to time it and connectors need jumping or hoses plugged? also when i changed the wires the truck would not start with the 2.0 firing order only on the 2.6 and purty sure its a 2.0 engine code g4cp. any help would be appreciated thaks in advance.
