Truck Died!

New to the site and had a quick question. So I came home from work the other day and pulled up and parked in my drive way. Ran inside to grab something, I had a couple of errands to do. Go to get in my truck and nothing it's dead, I was like wtf? The I noticed the dash lights come on, but barely dim. So my question does this sound like it would be the battery or the alternator? Or possibly something else. Any thoughts would be awesome, thanks!
