For about a week now I've noticed my dog is only walking with three legs. Something must be wrong with one of his back legs, as he won't put any weight on it at all. But, when I look over the leg, nothing looks wrong. No swelling, no cuts, no worms, no nothing. It doesn't bother him when you put pressure anywhere on his leg, foot, or hip. I thought it might be a sprain, but a week of not walking on it and it's still not better? Then I thought maybe he got a`splinter or thorn, but looking at the bottom of his foot, I can't see anything, plus it doesn't bother him if I put pressure on the bottom of his foot.
Any ideas? Or should I just take the poor guy to the vet...he needs to be neutered soon anyhow.
Just take him to the vet. Trust me, it's better to not let problems develop into something more serious.
yeah might as well take em to the vet, good luck on expenses!
ya get him to the vet... thats kinda liek tellin sum1 to walk it off when you dodnt know what they did
yea without a doubt take him to a vet
I figured it was just a sprain or twist, as he's always jumping around and stuff, and there really isn't much you can do for those, so I let him be...but after this long, something isn't right and he needs to be looked at.
yea, its better to be safe than sorry anyway, i already feel bad for teh poor dog and havent actually seen it limping around
yeah check his hips before you go and the middle of his back. but defineatly take him to the vet.
^^ so cold
yea take him to the vet travis, would be the best option
