I would personally prefer just a crew cab short box, and even that would be too long for me.

the wheel base on the quad cab and an extended cab isn't much if not at all different. if you notice how close the rear wheel wells are to the back door on the quad. now look at an ex cab truck and how far the wells are just to the back of the cab. in my visual opinion it looks like the quads overall length is shorter then and excab short bed. look behind the wheel wells on the quad then look at the excab. excab looks to be about a foot or so longer

I have been contemplating building a four door, custom frame the works, using 2 cabs , a reg cab and ext cab, with a shortie short box, would prolly need a v8 in it, would kick ass though, dang now one of you are gonna do it, .......
I would have to find a couple of wrecks to do it with, i could never waste any of these trucks to just build one.
got any more pics of that mazda?
And what do they call it over there?

it's exact same lenght as a cabplus or single cab, Straight swap onto the b2000 chassis just needs a few body mounts moved. Mazda proceed marvies are dime a dozen over here in NZ but only a few have been changed to the B2000 chassis, I've heard of one around been bagged to but never seen it
