I have an 87 b2000 and the frame is in rough shape. it is not worth patching or i would, thats easy. I was told by a couple friends that rangers from around the same time have the same chassis. If so could someone let me know if this is true and if so what years exactly?
welcome man. where you from? and to answer your question....as far as i know its only the 94 and up mazdas that share the same frame/body as a ranger. im not sure if the 86-93 mazdas have any similar traits in america.
the frames are 100% incompatable sorry man but it wud be interesting to see if u could mate tho
I'm from New Hampshire. Not a whole lot to do up here but work and school.
So i guess i am sol unless i find a mazda. Do all the B's (of the same year/gen.) use the same chassis? I might just end up building a frame myself. XP
Well you pretty much have to find the truck you have lol. If you have an ext cab you have to get a ext cab parts truck for the frame. Single cabs and ext cabs frames are different
alright, Thank you.
I apologize for being a noob. I have always been into aesthetics and how things look way more that learning how they work, so your help is much appreciated.
well the ex cabs and the long beds use the same frames but the mounts are in different places..i.e. rear cab mount for the ex cab/ front bed mount for the long bed...everything else is the same....and if you wanted to do the work you can cut down a long bed frame to use as a std cab std bed frame...BUT theres a lot of work to it, and makeing a new frame would be ez'er
