Firewall Vin Tag?

My new project had the firewall vin tag removed to shave and paint the firewall and i was wondering how they are attached.... i looked at one at it was just screwed on which didnt seem right im assuming its riveted but i need to know if i need a special type, pics of one would be great Thanks

It could be either. I have one truck that is screwed on and one truck that is riveted on.

Interetsing I wonder if it goes by year, does the one that's riveted use anything special?

iv had an 86,89,90 and a 91 and all had the screwed in tag the 91 was a b2600i as well
