SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT ENGINE/ENGINE SIZES/ MOTOR MOUNTS

Okay I have a 1985 300ZX non-turbo. I'v seen kits that can swap the v6 for a 350 small block v8 chevy motor. What I wanna do is put a 6.6 turbo diesel chevrolet motor in it. I got to thinking about it.. Isn't the block of a 350 the same size of a 6.6 diesel?? Please tell me what you think!! Ill post lots of before and after vids and pics of trading the motors out!

i got a feeling that the 6.6 diesel  is bigger you also have to make room for the turbo and the piping. is it possible sure anything is with a little imagination. as far as the motor mounts you can either make them or get them made.
