I know area with the red circle was done by a bead roller. What about the area in the blue circle. It recessed the area lower than the other section.

looks to me like thats how the metal was stamped.u could do that with another type of dye in a roller i think.

A bead roller with a stepping die will achieve that look. I just looked at a race car my neighbor is building on the weekend and all of his interior tins were done like that, looked really sharp. I want to try it on a notch cover for my Isuzu and see how it looks

if that's factory, it's stamp pressed...if not, then it's just high skill

not factory it was in a car rad rides by troy is building. It looks sick, i wasnt sure a step die would do that cause I have only seen and used it for a flange.

it can be done many different ways...    pullmax, hammerform , beadroller and etc....    heres one i did for a 63 car floor i was working on ....   it was done on the beadroller with stepping dies....
