New Toy

I got a boat. It's a basketcase, but it's all there...or so I'm told. Plus, the guy I got it from has a buttload of parts that he says I'm welcome to. I know it's a tall order, but for free, you can't really to *too* wrong. I figure I'll just gather up parts slowly while I try to wrap up the sled this year. I'll make it my next project. Maybe get it in the water next summer?

Hondo. The hull's good, 455 Olds, Jacuzzi Jet, blah, blah, blah. If nothing else, It'll look cool behind the sled.

Always wanted to pick up an old drag or ski boat, with a blower motor in it. Saw one on eBay the other week, I think it went for less than 6K.

Probably never take it to the lake, just leave it on the trailer. Pull it out of the garage on Saturday mornings, fire it up and piss off the whole neighborhood.

oh you can do that for MUCH cheaper. take a 1976 cub cadet lawn mower and remove the muffler. proceed to mow at 8am sat and sundays.
