I know there aren't many out there, but I have a question. Has anyone done away with all that extra stuff on the brakes? I am not sure exactly what it is, or what they do. I think it has something to do with the abs.

yeah, i removed the return line and got rid of the pump under the cab,of course the brake lights(in dash) on but otherwise no problems

What about that thing in the back that has a spring going to the rear end?

i replaced it with a t, its just a proportioning valve that works under a load. if you lower the truck with it on its like haveing a load in the bed, the brakes will lock up.more weight = more brake

its garbage....ditch the stuff in the rear and tee them off like said above.

so what exactly do i do to this spring. i've noticed the front brakes lock up on me. is this due to the spring?? cause if so its almost caused me a couple accidents. and i need to remove it
