alright guys this one is a little late in the build but thought id start a thread on it anyways. 57 chevy were doing for a guy. ive got some older pics that ill throw up on here once i get them loaded to the computer. anyways its gonna be a pretty bad ass ride. Full tube frame, vette front and rear suspension, 470 inch small block, thats right small block! chopped 1 3/4", flush mounted windshield and rear window, most of the stock trim has been removed, hood bullets filled in, bullets on bumper removed, blah blah blah the list goes on forever!
you can see in this the bullets filled in on the hood and also removed the ones from the bumper, cut and sunk it in closer to the car...
also had to cut the hood on all four sides and the right fender to get the chrome to align and the hood gaps right.heres the flush fitting glass, since the top was chopped he was going to have to get new glass made anyway so why not make it flush right???also i had to make a new piece to go infront of the door to flow more into it all, it was just chrome trim from the factory...
Man I love that first picture. Its like shes smiling at you. What do I spy in the primer in the second picture? Looks like a 41-46 chevy.
hahaha yep its a chevy, its got a blown big block in it, gonna be a pro street style truck. its a long bed also, im not very excited about doing that truck haha, not many body mods or anything super slick going to happen on it.... i cant let the camera wonder over to that side of the shop to much cause of a car were doing for the Ridler over there lol
So I don't know too much about the older cars, but what are you doing around the window openings?
They are making a troff for flush mounting glass like on newer cars
thanks, 3 times over... lol
Those T&T guys are no joke!! They do some really bad ass work over there!! Nice job on the '57, keep it up!
