ok i have a 88 hb ext bab...but anyway im having a problem with the frame laying out in the front it is bottoming out on the lower c arm i was wondering if i could possibly section it out like on an s10 or if anyone else has an idea of something i would really appreciate it thanks for the time
Yes, you can section it out. I wish that I had pics for you, but I don't. If you had the ball joint in front of you and you looked down on it, It kind of looks like half of an H and the bottom part an i. You can notch out the inside of the top of the H. I hope that makes sense. We plated the outside of the arms with 1/8" flat plate when we were done.
so where you section it out at is where it is bottoming out on the bottom partof the frame am i correct?
how th ehell is it bottoming out on the lca?...i have a hardbody and have no issues with the lca....is it just bagged or is bd?....im lost on how this could be....go tany pics?...
Whatever is stopping the LCA from traveling up further is where you would want to trim. What size rims are you running albert? We set the one up that I did to run 20's.
im runnin 18's...i didnt think about the wheels...i just re-read the question...what about the upper bag mount bein to far in towards the pivot point and no clearencing or the mount bein to low?....really need pics...
