Toyota Camry Starting Issues

Turn key and engine clicks once, but won't start...try again and engine does start...this has occured at least 6 times in the last couple days...any ideas what could be the issue here???

Today car won't start at all, just does the single loud click from engine and starter location...battery is about 6 months old.........

automatic?

check the park neutral switch

bad starter, bad starter solenoid (attached to the starter-1piece), bad connection from the battery to the starter solenoid, bad ground, bad battery...lots of things man,

will it start the first time if you jump it? if it does, look at your battery or alternator, if not change the starter.

sounds like a starter to me if not ignition switch

Turned out to be the starter...definitely appreciate replies received!
