crushing fingers

hey everyone. guess what? I just crushed three of my fingers about two hours ago here at work. I work in a factory that makes magazines and I am in charge of putting the covers on. Well, I was coming back from my lunch break and decided to clean off a part of the machine and was in a hurry and didn't think to lock out the machine so it wouldn't move. BIG MISTAKE. I got lucky and didn't break (I think) or lose any of them but I did manage to squish my middle finger just below the knuckle down to about a quarter of an inch. ouch to say the least. I guess that's what I get for getting in a hurry. shit happens. Right now I have ice on them and am typing with one hand. I'm sure they will look pretty in a few hours. would post pics if I knew how but I don't. anybody else have a story about something like mine? And to top it off I am in the middle of moving, trying to fix my truck, and fix a friends car so he has something to drive. I am also suppost to go get a set of couches, a dryer, and a table monday. guess I have to be lazy this weekend. damn.

if they were squished to 1/4", shouldnt you be at the hospital right now?
