What way should i go 2 post or a 4 post lift? I can see pro and cons to both. I would like some outside opinions from people who use them often

I like an asymmetrical 2 post.

symattrical or assymetrical 2 posts. a 4 post lift doesnt allow you to acces as much of the vehicle underside and they are generally larger where as the 2 post takes up less space when empty. IMO.

ya i would go with a two post because there a better all around lift like stated before i se one everyday and do everything from suspension to motors

I have a 2 post Nussbaum lift in my shop and I love it. 4 post lifts are great for storage but thats about it. You can get used or rebuilt lifts for a pretty good price if you look around.

we use 2 post lifts at our shop, i think they are better. get more access to the undercarraige and they take up less space when they arent being used. where are you located cause my boss has a couple of used ones he is selling fairly cheap.
