shop vac question

My filter for my shop vac was left out in the rain and is now useless. It also got smuched almost flat. My question is... do i need the filter to run my vac or will it mess it up?

yes you need it or it will just blow dust out the blow hole(lol). just get a new filter, shouldnt be to much,.

blow hole...LOL........ o.k. I think walmart sells a replacement that will fit. I knew you could take it out if you were getting up water...i just wondering.
