Hmmm, for some reason my previous post regarding this didn't show up. Anyway, just tossed up pics of what my friends did to my Nissan 240SX convertible the other weekend while they were bored... I was working on my Q45 and told them to go ahead and take the convertible over to their shop next door. Couple hours later they came back with:

Then I was feeling semi-productive the other day...

Still just messing around, fleshing out some design ideas for the flares... and just hoping I actually finish this project instead of having it end up in storage like, well, another project did for now. Ultimate goal for the stance is to have it touch ground at full down... ride height will be about 3.25" up. Fenders will be radiused to just tuck tire tread at ride height, so that at full down they will just barely tuck rim (that will definitely confuse people as to why it's on the ground, yet the wheels aren't all super sunken in the fenders). Still tempted to do the fenders, f and r, in steel, but I know I won't have to skill to make them as perfect as I'd like, esp after I threw away my e-wheel/planishing hammer frame during a recent move, so fiberglass is definitely looking mighty attractive (and with my laziness I'll probably never finish the steel ones)...

Hmm, wonder if I should cut my car up. Looks pretty damn sick, can't wait to see a finished product.

wow i like how i forgot about this post till now! Haven't been on the forum in a while...heck, haven't had much time for cars in a while unfortunately. Only real major change in the last few months is the whole top and glass (except windshield) and interior of the car has been gutted, and both rear qtrs are cut out now. Got tires on the rear wheels, and drove the car to the bodyshop to make sure everything was honky dory, cuz these convertibles are notoriously flexy! Checking out this forum after the long absence has got me motivated again...!oh yah btw, the rear wheels are 19x12", -45mm offset... the lip's 178mm, or about 7" oh, and you guys are gonna love the center caps:
