Door Popper on a Hardbody

What is the best way to hook up a door popper?

i mean the best way to hook them up on my 96 hardbody

DO YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE LOCK OUT TO HOOK IT UP, AND ALSO WHERE ON THE DOOR IS THE BEST PLACE TO MOUNT THE SOLENOID?

i put some in one time and i put them in the back corner of the of the door at the bottom pulling straight down on the outside door latch where the rod for the outside door handle hooks up, you dont have to take the lock out, but i would recomend it cause im assuming you are shaving the door handles and you will accidentally lock the door one day and door poppers dont work if the door is locked.
