aight guys I have searched and I cant really find a straight answer to my question... Im plannin on baggin my accord but its my daily so it cant be down for too long if I "body drop" my strut mounts will air struts still clear and give me plenty of lift? Im plannin on runnin the struts that lowrider depot sells if that helps ar all.. im not real familar with baggin cars ive always done trucks so help me out guys
my bad should have included that... its a 94 coupe if that helps any
they are easy, should be almostg all bolt in with very little welding.
on your rear brackets, which ones do you have?? is it the U shaped bracket with 3 holes?? if so which hole is it mounted in??
I actually dont have my pieces yet was plainnin on ordering them right before spring break... I also havn't really decided on which air struts im going with.. does anybody know about the ones that lowrider depot sells?
Im going to be bagging a 95 wagon next weekend using the Easystreet air struts. Its on 20's and from what I have seen they lay it out nice. I can post pics when I start working on it. As far as what you said about modifying the mounts, Im not sure how much you can start modding them before you run into clearance problems with the control arm hitting the hood.
what I was thinkin about doin on the mounts is cuttin the strut mounts from the car and liftin em up... I can put bubbles in the hood if I need to.. im just doin some 18s this first time around so im hopin itll lay pretty good
theres alot more cutting the juct the strut towers man, you need to notch the unibody for the tie rods and the cv axles, then your gonna have to tub everything else for your rims,
