Ok here is the situation. I originally bought an entire air ride setup for a toyota truck I was working on. I scrapped the toyota project and now I have this '96 civic coupe. I have 2 5 gallon tanks, 2 compressors, all the lines, fittings, relays, etc. The only thing I don't have is the actual air cylinder and accumulators. I have bags, 4-link kit, and a c-notch kit which I'm selling to buy the cylinders and accumulators.

My actual question is this. What do yu guys reccomend for cylinders and accumulators. I've talked with the C.C I hang out with(latest craze) and specifically talked to Dave and he said go cylinders and accumulators and he's never steared me wrong so thats what I'm going with.

Accumulators are for hydralics and air cylinder and air struts are the only bolt on air kits, but they dont lay out!

You can run accumclators on cans for a little better ride. Very true that air struts wont lay out as nice as cans but they get pretty close. Plus the ride is so much better with bag struts. Air clinders are bolt on also for the civic. Let me kow wif you need any prices on parts.

cans are all metal, strut bags are basically a mcpherson strut with a bag instead of a coil spring, Strut bags cost more but ride better, your not gonna lay with strut bags or cans, hydros will, however you can make your call lay but you will have to modify the unibody!

i got my cylinders from EAI for my old civic and loved em..they were the 3.5 ones so they didnt hit the upper arms up front and let it get a litle lower than the 4 inch cans

Well I don't want it to lay. I just want it to go as low as it can with whatever is bolt on. I just need to get the suspension off the coilovers and then I'll change it later to something else if need be.

Well if ya'll had to choose between struts or cans which would ya'll choose?
