will 8 1/2 wide fit?

Will an 18 x 8 1/2 with 6 1/2 backspace allow me to turn on an 87 toy? I don't have the truck yet, so I can't try it on to see if I'll be able to turn, and I don't want to buy the wheels if they won't work. Any help would be great.
