Something that is easy on the eyes, has a good layout and information. Make a site that is worth the visitors time. If you fill it full of junk than no one will be interested and no one will return.
Make the website clean and simple! I made a custom layout and "artwork" for mine. I hate websites that use templetes. They are all the same and just plain boring!!!
My main focus for my website is my patented invention Tonneau Gate. Usually once you see what I have and my goal for the website, most people will not return because there is nothing new. When I started my website I had no idea how to create them or even edit them. Since then I have learned a lot about the scripts and how to get return visitors. Since 7/13/04 I have had over 631,000 hits and counting on my website! That's not bad for a rookie "webmaster".
I've always taken pictures from car shows so I decided to start doing show coverage. Since then I haven't had trouble getting return visitors...
Good luck!
