Help with daughter's science problem

OK, you have a cup, 3x5 flash card and paperclip, you place the card flat on the top of the cup, and put the paperclip on top of the card. How do you get the paperclip into the cup without touching it?

My 1st answer, burn the card, was wrong.

Define "it". do you mean the paper clip or the cup or the index card?

You have to get the paperclip into the cup without touching it.

use a magnet? that way your not 'touching' it.
