Help! Electrical Problem! Truck shuts off,dunno why.

So out of no where, my battery died out on me. And now when I turn the compressor on the whole entire truck turns off on me. Any idea of why this might be happening? Maybe a wire might be cut some where rubbign against the metal?

I got a 165 amp aftermarket alternator.
I got 2 comps. ViAir and thomas compressor..and another yellow top as well.

sounds like the alternator to me too. when you turn the comps on there taking all the juice your truck has, non left to run the ignition and computer.
