HOTEL problems @ Forbidden

Did anyone's reservations get completely messed up? My reservation for 5 rooms @ $79.99 each turned into a reservation for 4 rooms @ $109.99 each! When I called the hotel to tell them the Grapevine was closed and to discuss the reservation arrangements, they came at me with some bunk reservation. The lady on the phone (Days Inn pesonnel) Then began insulting me and called me a liar, which was proceded by her hanging up on me. I am now faced with having to pay $1,869.00 for hotel fees and overdraft fees to WellsFargo because the amount charged to me was more than was in that account at that time. Everything would have been fine if they would have just charged me what they should have.If anyone else had problems with the hotel please let me know, WellsFargo isn't doing anything to help me out.

You did get everything in writing didn't you?Confirmation numbers, rates, etc? If you did, small claims court would be next.

You should always have documentation of all of your rooms.

I know of a club that requested to have some sort of documentation sent to him about guarenteeing his rooms at the price stated.

unfortunately I didn't make the reservations, and they were made over the phone with my credit card as security for the reservation. So I don't have any documents showing proof of the rates.
