Sellers Beware

It appears we have a "scam artist" lurking in the ssm classifieds.I recently placed a for sale ad for my dually on here, not 10 hrs later i get this email...Hello,How are you and everything over there.I am interested in youradvert (car ) and i like to know the actual selling price.I have gone thru the advert and everything seems perfect andexactly what i needed. I will like to know if it's still available forsale and wants you to know that i will be paying with a cashier'scheck,personal check or money order,therefore i will need your fullname,contact address and phone number for the payment arrangement.In regards to the shippment,i have contacted my shipper and hewill be making arrangement for the pick up from your place as soon as thecheck or money order clear your bank and the transaction must have beencompleted.I hope to read back from you ASAP.Regards,Andy.

I thought it was kinda wierd he wanted it sight unseen, but i had alot of pictures and info posted up so i figured he must buy and sell cars for a living. So anyone with a 10th grade intelligence can see its a scam. I send him back this reply...

just out of curiosity, if someone sends u a cashiers check, and u cash it and pay the shipper how is that a scam? im just wonderin if theres somethin there i dont get

everyone is out 2 fuck you over, i had emails like that 2, from me posting my rims to my mudtang online, wanna ship your shit, i told all of them to come with cash or fuck off, never heard from them again, BITCHES!

i know somebody who got fucked over by somebody like this... they sent her the same types of emails, but they gave her the check first, and she went to cash it, they gave her the money and of course it took a few days for the check to be cashed by the bank, so that the bank could get their money back... she had already sent w/e she was selling, and she got a call from the bank saying that the check was fake, and there was no such bank as the one ha was on the check... she ended up having to pay the bank back the money they gave her...

Yea, i wouldnt usually post something like this, but since it was only from my ad on here i figured id warn other members that are selling vehicles.
