I GOT A COMPLETE SR20DET J-SPEC MOTOR AND TRANS.... THE PROBLE IS THAT THEY CUT THE AC LINES WHEN TAKING THE MOTOR OUT.... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT LINES WILL WORK IN THERE PLACE???? I WORK IN PARTS AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP BUT WE CAN NOT LOOK UP PARTS FOR THE J-SPEC MOTOR... IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF A S13 SILVIA AND THE AMERICAN VERSON WAS THE 95-99 SENTRA / OR THE 200SX... STILL DONT KNOW FOR SHURE IF THIS WILL WORK..... PLEASE HELP ME OUT.. THANKS NISSANGUY
refrence the type of compressor and work from there.
WE ALLREADY TRIED THAT..... IT IS AN AFTERMARKET AC COMPRESSOR ON THE VEHICLE AND HAS NO ORGINAL STAMPING'S..... THERE ARE 4 DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMPRESSORS NISSAN PUT ON THE SR20DE IN THE STATES.. BUT WHO KNOW HOW MANY DIFFERENT IN JAPAN...
mabey you can retrofit a us model ac compressor and stuff from a junkyard.
Working with JDM parts can be a pain in the ass. No one in the states has any idea of what it is, even if you give them part #'s.
I deff try to switch the compressor, might have to make a bracket but it would make things easier in the long run.
the lines are aluminum somewhere just cut them to the aluminum and have them tig welded onto another set of ac lines that match your condensor
