will 3.58 gear in a 93 toyota truck hold up to a 318 V8? if i stomp the gas will the rearend shred to pieces?

those rear ends are stout fuckers, it should. legends cars use them and have a yamaha 1250 CC motor on them and get beat on like a bitch, never had one fail.
