Accord Seatbelt Chime

I just purchased an 06 Honda Accord today and wondered if anyone knows how to disable the seatbelt chime. I know you can just wrap the seatbelt behind the seat but there has to be another way to turn it off.

My buddy is a Honda Tech and he said the only way you could do it is to fool the switch in the seatbetl to think its closed.. as in ground it out..
