fuel cell help

i want to build or have built a fuel cell is there any kind of coating inside and does it have to be aluminum or can you use steel or stainless steel

oh and where can i find the fitting for the top and bottom

You can make it out of anything, but try to make out of ss or alum to prevent rust and contamination. I made one out of 308 ss 14ga. I just had a machinist friend make the bungs for me and i TIG welded everything. Speedwaymotors.com sells sealer, but if you weld it right you wont need to seal it.
