need info on making honda in convertable.

i am thinkin about making this accord i just got into a full time convertable. does anyone know the how much reinforcing willl be needed? where is a good place to brace the body that won't be seen? i don't want extra bars everywhere, but i want the car to be safe. any info would be great !

the question was where to reinforce the body, not how to get the top off.

You will have to reinforce the shit out of the floor and the rocker area would be a great idea too. That mother is gonna want to fold up a little when you cut the roof off. Then open the doors and watch what happens. Not good. I suggest a whole new frame built into the floor.

^^^ very true, we had a junk accord that was going to the yard and another body shop wanted the roof and when we cut it off the mofo had a shit load of flex

weld the doors closed tehn start cutting
