Engine

yanked the stock 1.6... building high compression 1.8 liter 16V (from Scirocco). .040 over JE Pistons, knifed/balanced crank, etc. Need cams & side draft carbs still. Close ratio 5-speed manual with 5th gear swap for highway cruising.

Exterior

mostly OG appearance... shaved lower trim and tonneau snap holes so far. Replaced half a bedside and took 1/2 the truck down to bare metal. Swapping front clip sheet-metal to single round light Cabriolet setup. Currently in primer.

Interior

'91 A2 GTI dash. Corrado bucket seats. New black molded carpet. recovering stockish black vinyl trim pieces.

Suspension

Cut/raised strut towers replaced with tube. Will run air struts (but don't have them yet) Rear axle will be narrowed, stub axles raised, and linked to lay on the rear. probably run behind and below the axle bags

Wheels

truck will sit on 16's. Have polished Porsche 928 slots (4 16x6 wheels)... hey this is a little truck!!

make this front wheel drive truck lay out. OG retro/slammed look. stock trim/handles/lights but with the control arms firmly planted on the earth. I also want this truck to be completely usable when done. Since it's front wheel drive I want it to
