Where can i get a Forward tilt hood

here is a how-to for the first generation s10's I know yours is different but this may help with the basic information.

you use your original latch on the front of the hood.

the rear is tough to explain. but where your orginal hinges were, youll need to make a little track for a hook or something to slide in and hold the back of the hood down.

if anyone has a better way of explaining that have at it...cuz that kinda sucked!! haha

looks like the stock hinges go back to the stock location and hold the hood down.

that works for me, didn't suck that bad

Devious customs makes a kit to do this, if you're lookin to spend a few bucks, I don't think its too complicated to use your stock hinges though, I've never done it

on the suburban i made a track on each side of the rear for the hood to slide into when it closes. (you can see the pins on the back of the hood). . . you can use the stock hinge as a lock on some cars. i remove the rivet in the hinge & cut the back of the rivet hole to make a "C" shape in the part that bolts to the hood, then weld a bolt through the hole on the part that bolts to the body, when the hood is closed the "C" cut will catch the bolt & hold down the rear.

gm disontinued the hinges cuz i checked a couple of years back i got a daily driver park avenue im thinkin about jacking them from it
