Getting low the old school way.

I want to drop my '83 mazda as low as possible without bags. What are some old school tricks to help me get low?

Will blocks from a 2nd gen Mazda work with mine?

Also, where can I get some parts.

I'm not spending a lot of money because I only spent 400 on the damn truck.
