Vinyl

I got some new backgrounds (numbers) for my motorcycle and they are vinyl so I thought I would ask about them in here.

What could I use to put them on so that I will be able to move them around first before they dry and get stuck on?

Will Windex work?

I have a race this weekend so I have to get them on tonight, so I can't go buy anything... So could you please tell me some common things I could use.
