Mazda 4x4 towing capacity

I have a mazda b2600i 2wd. I was wondering if a 4x has a higher towing/weight limit. Im in need of a vehicle to tow a new 5x8 dj trailer with total weight about 3500 lbs. Can the 4x4's do that safely?
