Bags on bottom 4 link bars?

I have a Pete&Jakes 4 link. My question is can I put the bags on the bottom bars in a mechanical advantage setup? The reason I ask is because the bars are round. All of the bags on bars setups I have see have square 4 link bars on the bottom. Any info would be great. Thanks
