When complete it will be motorized an lift up about 2 inches or so to make it more easily removable. it is removable now, but has to be done manually.

It does not control the radio, it is used as an input into the Pioneer DDin reloacted below it.

good link. we were already aware of the procedures, but with this setup would not work. there is no digital input to the pioneer unit.
