Anyone that thinks that they might fabricate someday should definately read at least chapters 7 & 8 in Engineer to Win. But unfortunately I can't tell you that there is an easier to read book about suspension design than Tune to Win. It is a fantasic book, but is tough to translate to everyday use. It's worth reading, but realize that it is an advanced book for sure.
